Writing Again and Pulse Re-Edit
Thu, Nov 10, 2016
So it’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog, and I thought it was time to let you all know what’s been going on. Between my day job and family responsibilities I’ve been neglecting my writing for the past six months. What this means is that I’m super behind schedule when it comes to the Pulse sequel.
The bright side here is that I’ve recently rediscovered some time and have spent it doing a few things. First of all, anyone who owns an e-book copy of Pulse can now download an updated version with much better editing. I’m confident we’ve discovered most of the spelling and grammar mistakes, and so the book won’t be so jarring in places anymore.
Secondly, I’m writing and editing the sequel, Blink. I’m about a third of the way through, and barring any life-altering events I should be complete within the next three months or so. Not saying it will be released then, as I want to make sure it’s polished, but the first run at the manuscript will hopefully be complete.
So anyway, not much else to say, but thanks for those of you who’ve given me kind reviews, and I hope to bring you more content as soon as I can!
PS. I’ve also been thinking of doing a post on how I set up my ebooks and print editions using HTML and Markdown. If anyone would be interested in this then please let me know!
